How does it work?
Hyaluronic acid adheres to soft tissue because, as a powerful humectant,
it attracts and binds water to itself and surrounding cells, helping to hydrate
and strengthen the tissue barrier. This ability to hold 1,000 times its weight in
water makes it an excellent hydrator.
Poloxamer is liquid at cold temperatures (2–8 °C), making it easy to apply, and forms a
gel at body temperature (36–37 °C), helping it stay comfortably in place.
