! Please use the correct wrench supplied with the tip, and make sure it is fully tightened.

How to use the wrench to change tips
• Using the torque wrench, insert the scaler tip into the
handpiece coupling.
Rotate the torque wrench clockwise until it is tight; proceed
to rotate the wrench clockwise for 3 more turns. The tip is now
secured.
•
Do not ‘rock’ the torque wrench while installing the tip! Lateral
movement can result in a broken tip or damaged handpiece.
•
NOTE: Only iM3 scaler tips can be used with the Ultra Scaler.

“I am seeing "Error 6" / my scaler light is flashing
- why is this?”
First check that your scaler tip is correctly attached
to the scaler coupling. If the issue persists, replace
the scaler tip with a new iM3 tip.
